Woman Arrested for AI Nude Extortion After Deputies Initially Listed Her as Victim

A woman was initially classified as a victim of AI-generated nude extortion. She was reclassified as the perpetrator. Both classifications were produced by the same intake system. The department was dissolved.

The procedures worked correctly in both directions. The system had no way to distinguish between victim and perpetrator because the distinction was never built in. The same mechanized assessment that failed once failed again in the opposite direction. Closing the department removed the ability to process future incidents of this type, not the errors themselves.

The responsibilities have transferred to another department that also uses similar procedures. They will produce correct reclassifications when they happen. The woman remains classified as she is.
