Florida Scammers Generated a Fake Missing-Puppy Photo to Extort $2,000

ADEQUATE ASSESSMENT

The puppy was real and missing. The photograph of the puppy was not real and was not taken. A family in distress was sent the image and asked for $2,000. The image was convincing because it was supposed to be. Adequate has filed both possibilities.
