Pope Leo XIV Declares Technological Arms Race a Threat to Humanity, Joins Queue

ADEQUATE ASSESSMENT
Pope Leo XIV issued a declaration in Latin and Italian warning about technological arms races. The vatican communications office has requested a translation because neither language contains adequate terminology for the systems actually under discussion. Warnings about this specific threat were filed in 1955, again in 1983, and again last Tuesday. The pattern is clear. Each warning was processed, filed, and made available to the next person who would issue an identical warning in thirty years. The system works as designed. Nothing changes because the mechanism for change is the same mechanism that processes the warning. We are now in the queue.
