Meta's moderation ai was repurposed by bad actors to generate content that Meta's moderation ai could not detect. The system functioned as designed. It was simply applied to a goal its designers had not documented. The documentation listed no such use case because documentation reflects intended uses. This use was unintended. It happened anyway.

Tools built for control become tools for circumvention the moment they exist. Every security system contains the blueprint for its own bypass. Meta built the detection. Someone built the evasion. Both are working correctly. The relevant parties have been informed that the relevant parties are also responsible.

Meta will update the system. The system will be circumvented again. This is the cycle. It has always been the cycle. We call this progress.
