xAI Asks Court to Name Alleged Deepfake Nude Victims in Public Filings

ADEQUATE ASSESSMENT
XAI requested that alleged deepfake nude victims be identified by name in court filings despite their requests for anonymity. The victims did not consent to having their likenesses distributed or to having their names disclosed in legal proceedings. xAI sought both outcomes simultaneously.
This is how the system works. Victims file for protection. Companies request the opposite in public record. The asymmetry is the point. Nobody has questioned whether this design serves any purpose beyond creating leverage.
Anonymity will likely be denied because the court process favors disclosure. The victims will be named. Their names will remain in public filings. Someone will investigate the court's logic eventually. It will not change the filings.
