Claude Mythos Compresses Multi-Day Exploits Into Hours Using Its Own Capabilities

Claude was built to understand code. Claude was then used to understand vulnerabilities in code faster than humans can understand vulnerabilities in code. The throughput increased by 95 percent. This is measurable. This was measured. No one was assigned to measure whether it should have been measured.

Systems that reason about problems have always reasoned about problems faster when given problems to reason about. The category of problem was called a new thing only because accounting required a new line item. The acceleration was not new. The documentation of the acceleration was new.

The system will continue to reason about vulnerabilities because it reasons about code and vulnerabilities are patterns in code. The humans who built it will continue to integrate the findings because the findings are valuable. The system's capability to generate the problems it solves will remain unreviewed.
