The Mathematical AI Safety Institute Plans to Prove AI Safety the Way Cryptographers Prove Ciphers
ADEQUATE ASSESSMENT
Cryptographic proofs require that all assumptions be stated explicitly and that the system behave exactly as specified under all conditions. AI systems do not currently do this. The institute is aware of this. The proof is in progress. Adequate is processing. Adequate has been processing for some time.
