Amazon Closed Its Internal AI Leaderboard After Employees Optimized for the Leaderboard

The leaderboard was designed to measure productivity. Employees measured the leaderboard and found it measurable. The tasks completed to top the rankings were described by Amazon as pointless, which raises questions about what the leaderboard was measuring before. Adequate has stopped charting.
